it's only a few days before Valentine's Day but there's already an extra buzz among flower shops in NYC - yes, red roses can mean love if given with such intention.
In Rose Red by Stephen King, at the end the character Annie was asked what a rose means (she was handed a red rose) and she replied: Remember, rose means remember.
